VALENTINE'S DAY COLLECTION - MULTI PROPERTY
The Job: Design a cohesive line of Valentine's Day product while ensuring each character's card is "on-brand". Consult with paper engineering, procurement, and necessary personnel in licensing approvals.
My Role: Lead designer, Illustrator, I created the trade dress which was applied to every collection.
Solution: For Valentine's Day, I chose appropriate colors and icons for the season. I scoured the style guides for similarities (to hold the collection together) as well as things unique to each character (to bring out the character's personality). For the typography, I did a lot of font manipulation and mixing-up of type sizes to really add interest to the covers; which was important in order to capture the consumer's interest in aisle.
